Upland First Presbyterian Church takes seriously its mission to share the gospel with the lost throughout the world. Here are some of the ways we are glorifying God in mission and you are invited to join us.

Loaves & Fishes

This interdenominational ministry of 16 area churches serves God by feeding the homeless, helping with counseling, transportation, temporary housing and paperwork. Our church prepares breakfast bags for one of the weekly dinners plus helps with other needs of the ministry.

Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity

We have chosen, as our means of manifesting God's love, to build adequate and durable homes with those in need of shelter, believing that safe and affordable housing is a basic human right and a fundamental component of dignity and long term well-being.

Inland Valley Hope Partners

Builds hope for homeless and low income families and individuals. Through our food pantries, emergency housing, and supportive services, people in crisis find hope and are empowered to break the cycles of pover and despair.

Bring hope by:

  • Serving at the food pantries, special events, housing and administrative offices
  • Holding a food drive
  • Participating in special events
  • Adopt-A-Family, toy drive, Thanksgiving program, and "Alternative Giving" program
  • Donate supplies

Meals on Wheels Upland

Operates from our church kitchen and delivers hot meals five days a week (Monday through Friday) to those needing assistance with meals.

 

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Serve food into delivery containers
  • Delivery drivers
  • Clean-up of kitchen and delivery containers
  • Ongoing need for substitutes
