Upland First Presbyterian Church takes seriously its mission to share the gospel with the lost throughout the world. Here are some of the ways we are glorifying God in mission and you are invited to join us.
India - Witnessing Ministries of Christ (WMC)
This broad ranging ministry in northern India has brought the gospel message of Christ to hundreds of thousands of Dalits (Untouchables). Along with the awareness of God's love and grace the ministry educates:
- Pastor couples
- More than 2,400 children in ministry's 16 schools
- Hundreds of women at their Women's Center
- Seeks to improve helath practices and economic development
- Promotes the growth of village churches

Peru - New World Mission Association (NEWMA)
NEWMA trains Latin American Christians for full-time mission work at their school of Missiology in Lima, Peru. Obed Alvarez has served as NEWMA's Founding Director for over 30 years, overseeing 900 full time Latin American missionaries in over 37 countries.
Our mission team has built a small church in the Andes from which have grown 17 more!

Kenya - Marera Community Self Help Project (MCSHP)
MCSHP, in western Kenya, works to improve:
- Healthcare
- Education
- Agriculture
- Water
- Skills training in the Marera community
Lifting up the homeless, the voiceless and the most poverty-stricken little ones in the world; HIV/AIDS orphans and other vlunerable children.
