Growing in Christ
The earliest Christians were called disciples—a word that simply means learner or follower. We recognize that in order to live life to its fullest, we need to nurture the attitudes and actions encouraged by our Creator and modeled by Jesus. We only grow by following Jesus.
The mission statement of First Pres is Growing in Christ and Making Him Known. Growing in Christ demands that we seek to know him, love him and serve him with our heads, our hearts and our hands.
Through Sunday School classes, MidWeek courses, bible studies, small groups and special events, First Pres offers a variety of courses that cover these bases and equips the Ministry of All Believers for their growing into Christ.
