Making Him Known
We are social by nature—created for community. Just being with other people calls us out of ourselves and our own concerns into the world of others. Jesus says wherever two or more are gathered in his name, he is with them. We are better together than apart, and gathering is the antidote to isolation and alienation.
First Pres provides numerous opportunities for us to gather. Through fellowship groups and activities, in small groups and studies, and in other interest-specific activities—we are serious about getting people together in order that we may grow in our faith and together discern God’s will and callings or our lives.
